Transfer 2

What up yo got a quick email for you this week

I am alive

This week has been pretty nuts. One of the best weeks missionary work wise and fun wise.
So last week I had a little mishap haha. My shoulder got hurt real bad and thought it was possibly dislocated. Ended up calling the mission nurse and she asked me to meet her at the hospital. I'm like are you kidding me I got people to visit yo
So the car elders were gone so me and my companion had to walk to the front of the scheme which is about a mile. I was dying for a mango aloe Vera so you best believe I stopped at one of the chinee and got one. The weight of the drink was hurting my arm so that sucked.
We waved down a bus/minivan and the driver was cooking. Weaving in and out of traffic and had some loud music going. My arm going crazy wacking into my companion. The bus ride was actually relatively tame.
I got the the hospital and had an exam and the mission nurse was not happy with the exam given and she wanted a reevaluation.
Anyways a few days pass and then comes transfers. I got a new trainer named Elder Perkins. He was a zone leader in Berbice. One of the former APs is living with me now too which is dope. I'm betting they'll whoop me into shape. But don't worry I'm a consecrated missionary. While transferring I ended up going to the Georgetown hospital and getting a reevaluation by a much better doctor. I got an x ray and there was a separation or minor dislocation or something at the ac joint so it wasn't too bad. I got some tape fixed on my shoulder and a sling.

Me and my comp were asked to not ride bikes and possibly exchange so I could be in a car but I didn't really want to do that. I like my area and especially our friends. I don't really want to miss the chance to be with them so I decided to just walk my area with my companion. He was totally fine with it especially since we aren't in a big area. It turns out walking is actually really fun. We end up walking like 6 miles a day village to village. We've met some really awesome people that want to come closer to christ. We're trying to find the time with these dudes. We've been teaching some friends named Romaine and Alisha. They are always keeping the commitments that we give them and are the closest thing to a nuclear family here. We had then pray about the book of mormon and Joseph Smith since that was something they were struggling with for a while. What we teach them is obviously different than what a lot of people are used too. They were used to the sabbath being on Saturday. Eventually we met with them again and had another awesome lesson. They asked about the branch President and what church was like and so we told them that all leaders and callings ate volunteer. They were shocked to learn that we are not paid as missionaries. A big reason of this is because of the pastors and preachers here make a lot of money.
The next day was church and when I saw romaine walk in through our basement door(the church) I was so happy my goodness. Nearly brought a tear to my eye. He ended up liking the Sunday service and we had a few other friends show up for the first time too.

Ain't got nothing much else. I aint telling what happened with my shoulder because I'm ashamed. But if yall wanna know email or text me on messenger.

Someone told me this is me when I read the Scriptures
Alma 32:27-28
27 But behold, if ye will awake and arouse your faculties, even to an experiment upon my words, and exercise a particle of faith, yea, even if ye can no more than desire to believe, let this desire work in you, even until ye believe in a manner that ye can give place for a portion of my words.

28 Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me.
